The school year had flown by. Cirice and Elliot sat in the lounge with the rest of the faculty. The students had all be loaded onto the train and had departed an hour ago. Now Hogwarts was undergoing its year-end deep clean while the teachers had cocktails.
It had been a challenging year, contending with the first seekers of Hogwarts. There had been a number of accidents involving the quidditch pitch and the whomping willow. “Certainly,” agreed Professor Hagen, “how long could we possibly hold their fascination?”
“I’m not so certain,” Cirice said over the rim of her salted glass, sipping her jalapeno margarita, “I’ve heard one of her books has won an award. I have a feeling we’ll be contending with her and this Potter fandom for some time…”
