Welcome to the Fiction Section.
Here you will find the expansive, perhaps overwhelming, span of my imagination. From teensy-tiny stories, to full works, to fan-fiction, you will find a wide web of items here. As the library gets filled out, I imagine there will be an expansion to the categories. I hope you find something to your liking!
- Itty Bitty Stories: Short, or at least my version of “short, stories. They’ll be stand-alone bits, or maybe limited to two or three parts.
- Inktober: In 2022 I needed a creativity boost come autumn. I began to see a lot of artists I follow on Instagram posting their contributions to Inktober. I was inspired by a fellow writer I follow on Instagram who was posting small, incredibly micro-story snippets based on the Inktober prompts. They inspired me to do my own take on it. I made it half-way through 2022’s prompts, and in 2023 I actually completed it! I’ll continue to partake, I’m just not certain I’ll do all the posts, if they don’t speak to me, going forward.
- Monthly Writing Challenges: I used to find a prompt every month and then write a short story based around it. I originally started with only writing a line-a-day, then I let them grow into more substantial beings without constraints. I’ve gotten into other things, so I don’t really see myself going back to these, but you never know!
- Stay (A Series): A newer tale, largely inspired by two Ghost songs – shocking, I know – “Stay” and “We Don’t Need Another Hero”. It’s a tale of magic, and nature versus nurture. I am excited to see where it will go!
- The Daughters of Nirn: This is a sprawling tale of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim from the point of view of various (mostly) in-game female characters. Not necessarily a retelling of the plot of the game, but just how the events of the game may have passed these various women by, and how it may have affected them. This series is a study of how the various characters lives are intertwined and how the same event may play out differently for multiple people.
- Character Cards: These “cards are much bigger than those I created for The Three Towers. These are full on profiles on the various female point-of-view characters. Once a character’s first chapter is posted, their card will be posted as well. If you’re a follower of the page and get emails, you won’t receive emails about these particular posts, but they’re here if you want to read them. I’ll also be updating them as the story progresses, so if they’re your jam, be sure to check back!
- The Three Towers: This series is once again involving The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. However, this time it largely does chronicle the happenings of the game. At least, for what happened with my first play through. It includes the backstory I created for my character, as well her true motive for going down the path of the Dragonborn. It’s also about the connections and relationships she makes along her journey.
- Character Cards: Little info posts to help keep the various characters straight, for the reader that is not up to their eyeballs in Elder Scrolls lore. (Don’t worry, you don’t have to be to read this…) If you’re a follower of the page and get emails, you won’t receive emails about these particular posts, but they’re here if you want to read them. I’ll also be updating them as the story progresses, so if they’re your jam, be sure to check back!
- Tales From The Castle: This series was once Inktober 2024, where I was inspired to do nearly the entire thing set in my mobile game Elder Scrolls: Castles. It really grabs my imagination, as most Elder Scrolls based things do. The first eleven parts of this series is the entirety of Inktober 2024 condensed into more cohesive, story-telling parts. I hope you join me for more tales from the castle!
