The girls hurried up the rocky beach and began to climb into the little boat. Joanne slipped at the water’s edge and she and Cirice clutched at each other, some how managing to keep one another from going down as they wobbled and pinwheeled their arms. Once they were finally steady, they were giggling madly.
“Alright, alright,” Hagrid chuckled, “into the boat now, we don’t want to get too far behind the others.”
Cirice noticed there were only a handful of boats left and around a dozen students waiting. She reached for Joanne’s hand, and the pair avoided blunder and climbed into the small boat together.
