It’s finally here. The ‘ber’ months have officially begun. And with it, the official release of the Inktober prompt list! I have stumbled across it earlier than I ever have before, so I am hoping I can well and truly get out in front of it this year and get posts prepped to go.
Last spooky season, all but one post took place within my mobile Elder Scrolls game, Elder Scrolls: Castles.

It wasn’t intentional, but I rather enjoyed how all the little bite-sized stories flowed together into one story afterwards. I am not certain what I will do this year. I can’t do a back-to-back year of Castles. Plus, centuries have passed since we last visited the Castle. King Gudstar’s great-(times six or seven) granddaughter is the reigning queen. But… lots has happened over the centuries.
So, drop a comment if you have a preference. Should we have 31 stand-alone stories, like Inktober 2022? Or should we have 31 parts to one story, like Inktober 2024? Or a mix of the two, like Inktober 2023?
Have a boo-tiful Spooky Season 🧡🖤👻🎃
